Programs

Youth Achievers ~ Through the Junior, Youth, and Collegiate Divisions, young people are trained in leadership skills, planning community projects and cultural events, and parliamentary procedures.

Senior Citizens ~ Achievers create daily living activities that stimulate, encourage, foster, and promote the general welfare of the elderly.

Community Service ~ participate in Community Service Projects ~ The Food Bank ~ Habitat for Humanity ~ Regional Project  ~ Adopt a Highway ~ Health Fair.

Status of Women ~ Achievers highlight/promote significant economic, political, and social issues/advances faced by women. The thrust is implemented through awards, forums/workshops, health fairs, position statements, etc. focused on enriching the lives of women. The Profile of Prominence events are included in this thrust.

Political Awareness ~ The purpose of the Political Awareness Thrust is to empower Achievers to remain actively involved in local, state, and national political issues. This includes attending/setting-up political meetings on the positions of candidates, setting up voter registration tables, etc.

The Assault On Illiteracy Thrust ~ Achievers create programs to help fight the growing rate of illiteracy – coordinating reading programs, financial literacy workshops, donating books to children, reading forums, adopting schools, etc.
